Sweet

I BURST. If you're a star wars phan, you have to see this, it's EPIC!

Funny stuff aside, I think I am beginning to tire of GFY....... (OMG! Is that even possible?) Although their writing is still really funny, and the outfugs even more poignant when I identify designer clothes but find that somehow those ensembles are neither impressive nor inspiring. (Money can't buy class. Or style. It's true!) Nowadays, I seem to begin to see more good in the bad sometimes, and often find criticisms too harsh for me to agree. But that's all part of who GFY is so I do believe that they are still awesome, but a little too awesome for me (right now). Which is not to say that I don't still read it devoutly. Perhaps I'm just going through a phase where the mind is too tired to endeavour to internalise anything and the eyes are too weary to fully appreciate a truly hideous get-up. In short, I can't cope!

(Why am I so defensive!?!?? I don't know either...)

But I digress. The point of this was really to say that YESTERDAY'S PARTY BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN, YO! It wasn't a PJ party, it wasn't a chalet of non-stop dancing, but it was a nomnom party, and it was a non-stop birthday-song-singing function room. The food was no doubt the best, made even better consumed in an informal setting decorated with suggestive helium balloons and a lively, laidback atmosphere. I ate 2 freshly cooked Ramly burgers, about 8 scoops of attap seed ice cream (10 if you count the mint) and a bunch of juicy satay good enough to eat without sauce. YUM. I am not exaggerating on the ice cream. I was just plonked in my seat and various people kept giving me cups of ice cream which I alternated with my burgers and savoury satay. Only regret? Not getting to eat the mee soto. It looked quite good \: anyhoo, the cake was not bad too! Ok maybe I'm just a sucker for crispy biscuit bases. Guanaja from Rive Gauche, I think? I'm still a bigger fan of The Patissier (: I've missed my friends!!!! Happy (belated) 21sts, babes <3

MORE NOMNOM THIS WEEKEND!!!!! Will er, try to have some photos (no promises!).

The highlight of my night, though: I inspired someone to dress up his Clarks desert boots differently. Dare I say, stylishly. Wiggles eyebrows. Yes, it's a guy. Haha. That is not to say he is not a manly man. I mean, I am a manly man, the man of men.

Summer is/will be glorious. Style it up, guys! ;)

I can feel the beat now,
xxxo

P.S. is there anything vaguely nice to buy these days that doesn't involve copious amounts of money!!??
