Celtic art and designs (often made into jewelry) are intertwining knots that go on indefinitely, which probably explains why they're so popular as symbols. Did you just try tracing the outlines? Haha. I just love the symmetry and genius behind the intertwining lines weaving in and out so delicately. The Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co. consists of 2 perfectly entwined hearts. How romantic!
