Today was accident-prone day. I had several unglamorous episodes but surprisingly took it all in my stride. Hehe. Partly due to nonchalance (real not feigned) and partly due to the mad high that I have been so susceptible to of late. Heehee.
Just noticed that the back of my bag has "Le Pliage Type "S" - Modele Depose" embossed on the leather. Hmmm. Anyway, the flap is rather annoying and the lack of pockets means that I have to compartmentalise my stuff into pouches. Buh. Other than that, I guess it's a good size.
Jap results were a disappointment as I had expected (Mom checked for me) but I did fairly well by most people's standards. Oh well. Tangentially, I went for facial but my complexion has been quite good of late so I didn't do anything. Prior to that, I went window-shopping at Zara. Many awesome pieces there! All the summery clothing is making me eggcited. Whee. Prices are still pretty damn horrid though. I found this pair of YSL-esque shoeboots but the fit was terrible. I have fat feeeeet.
Tomorrow is dress down Friday! Pretty excited. Picked out my outfits already. Went to dig through my Agnes B stash (still with tags, mostly) for a suitable cover-up. Decided to go with all black tomorrow in order to bring out the pink and purply sparkliness of my new ballet flats! :D it is indeed a very balletic outfit because I'm actually wearing my ballet leotard with a gathered front and gathered low back with Mother's high waisted black flared skirt. Yesss, I can still fit my old dancewear. Some of it. Ahem. And, I'm topping it off with my black wrap cardigan. Yippee!
Joyous occasion tomorrow: I'm getting my (measly) paycheck. The current law firm has been very Kind to me. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 week stint. Unfortunately, HR has not permitted me to extend and I refuse to ask any favours of the lawyers although I'm pretty sure I can. It's been amazing. Thank you!
