Went for a scrub + massage this afternoon. My shoulders were/are super tight. Will only be able to tell tomorrow if it was any good, apparently I'll ache. The complexion is a disaster - not so much the pimples caused by stress but rather the scratching induced by the same - will have to seek expert help tomorrow then text the agency to ask if I can go in Friday or next week. Zzz.
Managed to squeeze a trip to the printer's to get a text and try out Burger Shack in the morning before heading far east. The verdict: it's oook... didn't really like the condiments slathered on my beef patty (it came with mayo and some secret sauce) but it was cooked decently and quite juicy; the garlic butter rice tasted chicken rice-y instead; and the shoestring fries were not too bad - you can order them as a side for just 2.70. My friend liked the Thai Chilli (chicken) and said that her set was pretty filling - her standards, not mine. She spent 6.20 + 2.50 (student upgrade, nons pay 3.50)for a dish + fries & soft drink respectively, while mine cost 5.70. I regretted ordering the single patty because it was pretty measly. The double costs 7.70, but this time was just a recce. Might go again to try the patties minus the sauce or other items I heard are not bad. Mixed reviews, this place has gotten. And this is not one of the positive ones, I'm afraid. I would give it another chance, though, to redeem itself.
I don't know how anything is supposed to work out, and I daren't wish for anything or get my hopes up. All I know is I got to keep trying, be patient, do my darndest best and trust in Him.
