Morose Reflex

Saw many things when I went shopping yesterday, by myself, no less.. Gotta love Zara--the kids' section is amazing and has a ton of items that would give adults shoe envy. It's really cute that they're wearing little grown-up items and I'm glad that they're not sexed up, just trendy.

Found a number of items at New Look and kicked myself for having such small feet to miss out on a beautiful pair of leather shoe-boots. Arghhh. The cutting is real nice, though not fantastic. And they're pretty much what I've been looking for. Oh well ): there was also a really cheap--SGD 19.90--killer pair of ankle boots in synthetic materials but looked quite good and felt quite nice. AHH. Temptation.

And I am extreeeemely tempted by these, although they're not on sale here like I thought they would be. I mean, last pair! SGD 59.90 and I've a 10% discount. But it's going for GBP 15.00 from the original GBP 30.00. Who wouldn't feel ripped off?? But mmm, leather.

Also sorely tempted by a pair of Zara heeled sandals and a pair of ridiculously overpriced plain black basic tailored shorts.. Argh. Both are SGD 59.90. Meep. There was also a lovely white summer-y kids romper, but I wanted a looser fit--13-14 years old--but it was sold out. 11-12 years old was just nice. Oh well \:

Both shoes aren't particularly great. They're ok for walking, stable and everything, but will probably hurt after some time since they're neither cushioned nor provide adequate support.

I was invariably drawn to all the black things.. So much for spring/summer. Nothing particularly nice save for basics. Saw quite a number of interesting items, but didn't have the money.

Ended up buying a basic purple Topshop pocket dress for a less than satisfactory price.. I don't know what I was trying to prove.
