Just Breathe

Went to Raffles City, which has a loooot more space to breathe. Everything's also neater on the racks. A much more pleasant experience! Mmm. Pity I only got to spend little over an hour there.

Decided not to buy the New Look shoes.. Didn't manage to get a second opinion on the Zara items ): probably wouldn't have gotten them anyway. Still hunting for something to exchange. But I think I shall abstain from shopping for the next few days. If I don't, foreseeably there'll be many things that I will rush into buying and not be totally satisfied, though it'd probably look ok regardless. Will stay home tomorrow and only head out for lunch and Jap, instead of going to Haji Lane like I wanted to. Maybe I'll do that on Wednesday instead, and not by myself.

Shall attempt to wrangle a refund out of ASOS again this week... Sigh. I've given up on the other fail.. I was originally intending to draft an e-mail pointing out how unfair they were, but realised it was pointless and seemed somewhat petty.

Great to see one of the girlfriends who's back earlier than expected. Really missed her. We're going to hit up the club on Wednesday since the doc is now on holiday and can join the lawyer, engineers and historian.

On the other hand, one of the gang is having a real horrible time in New York ): I keep praying for her whenever I have a moment/thought to spare! Getting your bag with your passport and valuables stolen is worse than meeting a creep, I think. And the theft is the cherry topping off a scam apartment which was paid for and was supposed to be an entire week's accommodation. Goodness ): is NYC really so unkind??

Got into a huge quarrel with Mother this evening because she was being totally unreasonable. It's unbelievable, seriously. Anyway, I gave up in for the sake of my sanity. Pfft. Being a child is sooo difficult like you wouldn't believe.

Many many things to do tomorrow. I'll try sleeping early for a change.
