All I Ask Of You

Spent a truckload of time downloading music randomly last night. Still have a whole long list to cross off. Hahaha. Time to start transferring stuff to my harddrive so that I can clear up space on my laptop. Feeling quite OCD. When better to do it than this week?

Anyway, attended a beautiful wedding dinner this evening. 'Twas a nice end to a day that could've been much better... (Needless to say, full dress rehearsal was... never mind.) It's been a while since I had the opportunity to attend one of these occasions--probably more than a year--and it has never been as good as this. Or maybe it's because I actually know and care about both of them--they're such amazing people (: really envious of their love! Congratulations to the happy couple (: (: (((((: randomly, I ran into a senior there--turns out he's a cousin of the bride! How small can the world get!? (It just occurred to me randomly that I probably know more about the groom/the couple than he does, even though he's a relative. Ironic, isn't it?) Anyway, her dress was very lovely :D

Wore mother's black vintage dress--the label says "DINDIN" (hahaha, haven't used that word in a long time)--and (medium?) taupe Charles Jourdan suede shoulder bag. Thankfully, I brought along my black Esprit sequined cropped jacket (which I'd worn earlier with my ubiquitous denim shorts, black tank and flip-flops to school) for the rest found it rather cold!

Really loving my $2 Daiso blush--brother said it (and my makeup) for the evening was quite nice--which I wore with a mix of foundations and curled lashes, brushed with a light coat of mascara and a little bit of brows. Quite lucky, I suppose, since I did it with almost no house lights during rehearsal. I am also very pleased with my extremely old--maybe 15 or more years?!!--(and full of makeup I don't use) cosmetics organiser which I brought to full dress today :D

Running random errands tomorrow.. I shall take a good break and maybe leisurely peruse Briggs' Conflict of Laws text... or not. Might not have time. These days, everything is relative--my standards are hardly normal anymore -.- adjustment of reality--somewhat paradoxical, no?

Coincidentally, as I am thinking whether to chop or not, a text comes in from my hairdresser asking if I am free so that I may go down and he can take care of my hair. IS IT DESTINY OR WHAT?
