Do You Know The Mussel Man

The haze is especially bad today ): it looks really gloomy like it's about to rain--if only it would!--and visibility is super bad. You can only see buildings several km away.

Anyway, remember I went to Brussels Sprouts a while back? Well, we had 6 pots of starter mussels, all in different flavours: white wine, black pepper, beer, tom yam, tomato.... and I forgot. Hahaha. That's also roughly ranked in descending order of yumminess. Really relished the sauce for the first 3!!! Yum yum.

I realised there're a lot of restaurants with the same beer + mussels springing up. Going to Jurong Point last night, I saw that there was this restaurant offering $10 (small) and $12 (large) pots of mussels with Hoegaarden. Omnomnom. On a sidenote, Billy Bombers really isn't worth returning to--good service, severely over-priced, 'only ok' food. Mmm.
