So, what are the odds that I check on my Sunday! x Oakley frogskins and they were to drop at, like, 0100h with an hour or so to go? (What with a first announced date of 7th Nov and the site not even working..... Up till when I decided to pay them a visit to randomly mope over missing out. They'd just tweeted and confirmed the timing while I was browsing.) Then I checked the site with 10 minutes to spare and it had already gone up.
I immediately activated my resources because I'd found out (by scouring the Oakley website) that they don't ship overseas. But what I didn't foresee was that they didn't accept my credit card either. Only US credits cards i.e. credits cards with US billing addresses. URGH. Frustrated. Now I've to check how much it'll cost to wire money over because I've to ask someone else to pay first. Definitely not cheap to TT! T_T
Alternatively, I can just bide my time and try my luck in stores--it's very limited online, just 250 pairs ): MEH ): ): ): ): and they're not expensive at all, just USD 130 a pop, which makes it less than SGD 200 (actually about 170) because shipping and everything else is free. Sigh!!!!!
