All photos by my friends and I, stolen from Facebook.
The interior was nice--warm decor, as you can see. The super spacious toilet was the best part--double sinks, toilet and shower cubicles and the most wonderful bath with lots of room! The beds were tiny (twin or super single?) but comfortable, with footstools and a chaise longue. Concierge and housekeeping were helpful, and all staff stationed throughout the hotel were pleasant and polite.
The pair of complimentary Art & Science Museum passes (SGD 60 value)--one pair for each night's stay--was quite good. The photos above were taken at the Genghis Khan exhibition, in front of the imposing memorial statue and inside the kids' yurt. The exhibition was fairly small but took a long time to cover because there were quite a lot of interactive components. What I didn't like was that it could and should have had a much more Asian perspective in place of wholesale importing from America.
While the overall experience for hotel + museum was decent--I can't say for sure, since I wasn't the one handling the entire transaction--there's certainly room for improvement. But will I stay/visit again? I just might, if I had the cash to spare.
