Whee!

So I pretty much didn't manage to change my wallpapers this week, churning out ton after ton of work. Ironically, since the end of my summer stints sprint has finally arrived... the remaining week ahead is filled with doing nothing. Which is exactly what I've been missing out on. Nothing. Or rather, nothingness. Reading a book, staring into space with a vacuous look; sleeping in, indulging in my biggest sin(s).

My sins ranked in descending offence:

Sloth, gluttony, anger, jealousy, lust, greed, pride.

Checked out Rubi Shoes today.... Too trendy for my liking. Although admittedly, 50 SGD (49.95, for the misers) for a pair of heels is pretty damn competitively priced. The fact that it's non-leather plus lacklustre designs doth maketh not to my books. If it's super comfortable, then I might re-consider. However, they don't have the 2 for 15 promo. That would have knocked my socks off. Heehee.

The Clarks store was good though, saw some shoes that I liked. Unfortunately, I can't afford them at the moment. And, I've too many pumps/basic shoes/neutrals/boring stuff. Bring on the skyscrapers!!!! Steve Madden was closed so no comment.

I had dinner at Aoba Ramen (B3-25). The queue moved quickly and service was acceptable. The noodles were slightly undercooked - perhaps because they were somewhat busy. The soup bases were not bad and the chashu and onsen egg were good. The price was barely passable (SGD 13.80++ for my Shio Seafood Ramen and SGD12.80++? for the Miso Chashu). Do skip out on the side dishes though, seriously bad. I had the Teppan Sausages - a rather confusing and salty dish - and the Unagi Smoke - much too much sauce, hence too sweet!

I didn't get to walk around much, but all in all... I'd rather not shop at Ion. Let's just say the demographic is far from ideal and I hate having to contend with crowds.

On the bright side, my luck is turning for the better... Or so I hope. My saying so better not jinx it. I won 10% and 50% Uniqlo vouchers (50% is the highest discount) from Uniqlo Surprise just the other day (: go play, they've got great prizes to give away and you've got nothing to lose....except maybe a minute everyday. Which is practically nothing if you read this a little faster. Hehe. A little excursion to the far east is in order :D I'm going to go on a spending spreeeeee. Oh glee.

This almost makes me forget the insane amount of work I have due tomorrow. BUT I'll be brought out for lunch...... I think. HMMMMMMMM. Good night, my lovers (:
