Saturday's outfit: fedora/vest/
Fedora, random roadside stall in Ximending, Taiwan
Shirt, tag says "aslan by lepia"
Shorts, Uniqlo with Shipley & Halmos
Shoes, New Look
Bag (not shown), Longchamp
I was channeling a little MJ with the ruffley shirt (stolen from Mom). I would've worn a jacket, seeing as I have so many but decided it was really overkill because it was so furrreakin' hot, guise. One of these days, I'll melt to death. MELTTTT. Anyway, I was asked if I was going tap dancing -.- As it is, I ended up not making it to the party. Gee.
Monday's shopping outfit: CHECKED SHIRT YEEEAH.
Shirt, tag says "Club Room"
Belt (not shown), price tag says "Sinma Jewellery $6.90"
Safety Shorts (not shown), Topshop
Leggings, random stall in Chinatown
Shoes, Fabio Rusconi
Bag (not shown), Longchamp
I wanted to wear Dad's checked shirt because I had taken it out earlier for the aforementioned partay and rolled up the sleeves nicely, only to discard it because of the sheer heat. Today had the perfect weather for it (read: STORMY) and I paired it with a pair of flowery patterned thick black leggings. Paired it with Mother's hugeass butterfly belt but tired of it halfway through the day. I can't show you detail through sketching because I'm incapable at the mo' of drawing fabrics, so let's make do with the silhouette + fabric photos (: unfortch, the tights are a beeyatch to capture.
Spent pretty much a bomb at Uniqlo, half of which was contributed by Mother's workshirts. Stocks always seem to be low and I can never find my size for clothes. Bought non-sale items since I get 50% off only on those. Bought a pack of socks (3 pairs), a skirt, a jacket, 2 pairs of spectacles, 2 wide brimmed hats. They didn't have the straw widebrimmed reversibles unfortunately ): I was quite tempted by the velvet blazer in gray. It looks really awesome but is much too difficult to upkeep. Anyway I saw my SGD 8 shirt going for SGD 19.90 on sale. Guess I should stop griping huh? No more shopping in Singapore unless I've got vouchers.
Just watched The Prestige, and I think I might have overdosed on Christian Bale (although I will never tire of Hugh Jackman). I think the best role for him is really Batman, but then it might just be because I love Batman and he didn't have to deal with nipply suits in recent times. HAHAHAHA. Back to The Prestige. It is thoughtfully crafted and a pretty good watch.
A quick review before I finally run along: Good Omens did not disappoint. Even though Neil Gaiman's voice was not so apparent, the ideas were evidently his. The book, I was told, was not much of a story. But I have arrived at a dissonant conclusion. It was a rather enjoyable read, made more so by random flecks of humour and Terry Pratchett's sarcasm. Literary aspects of the book were wonderful and if you are a fan of either author, it's worth the read (:
SCHOOL IS STARTING OMGOMGOMG.
