Excites

I went furniture shopping for the most part of today at IKEA (one word: MEATBALLS). I got:-

-2 wardrobes that I'm wondering whether I'll fill up completely (apparently the answer is yes but I'm not convinced......seeing is believing!);
-a shelf for my shoes;
-a tv unit with bookshelves and secretive white doors;
-a set of steps to help reach the highest shelves;
-a chest of drawers;
-a work desk;
-a leather chair that was not budgeted for but absolutely worth it (succumbed to the boyf's urges to splurge); and
-a foldable barstool for eating at the kitchen counter (not for my room).

And that was only half my list! A lot of things were out of stock, so I'll have to hunt elsewhere at the same time and make another trip back there sometime in April. Also, made some quick (hasty) decisions to change certain elements in my room. Keeping my toes crossed that it'll turn out nicely! I still need:-

-a wooden frame bed with fairly high headboard;
-interior fittings for my wardrobes and bookshelves;
-a work shelf;
-a work chair;
-a (over) bed shelf;
-soft furnishings including lamps, rugs, curtains, frames etc.; and
-a mystery weapon which gives the illusion of a fashionista (already have one in mind) :D

Much work to be done! But perhaps it is a blessing in disguise since I might be moving in the middle of the year. More good news though, YOOX finally accepted my return. What a relief.

I'm feeling pleased with myself because I managed to finish my homework in class just now. If only pubic (sic) law assignment were as simple. Sigh!
