There once were 3 lawyers:
A, B and C
As in Awkward, Bald and Cute
And then, there was an intern, I.
I was actually assigned to A. A had given her a single piece of work to do which I promptly completed. I was very free in the office. A couple of days later, A had brought her round the office to meet the rest, including C. Shortly after, A loaned I to C in the name of research. One day, A informed I that his boss would be going to court and said that she could come along, and then they would go and watch a prolific lawyer in action. I was very pleased and excited.
The same day, A had informed I that another lawyer, B, could use her for a task. I agreed to take on B's work in addition to a the school-like task A had assigned.
On the day of the hearing, I turned up for work early. However, nature called and I had to go. A wanted to run away without her! I had asked the other accompanying intern (belonging to a different lawyer) if we had to do anything, and she said that A had told her to take court attendance notes. A had not instructed I at all.
During the hearing, I tried to keep up and copied notes best as she could. Subsequently, I would pass along these notes to the intern (who had later been instructed to type it out) and then on to A. A did not talk to I all day. A did not even bother acknowledging her presence. Even when I warned A that he was nearing the end of the escalator, he did not think to thank her but sullenly proceeded to continue mashing buttons furiously on his blackberry.
The following week, I ran into A downstairs coming back from lunch. A made eye contact and quickened his pace, not bothering to hold the lift. I's friends saw it clearly too, so I was certainly not being paranoid.
A was friendly in encounters prior to hearing day. B and C are still nice.
I wonders what is wrong ):
