The previous 2 days consisted of boring office wear. The usual black Dorothy Perkins pants with a blue Iora top with wide, even silver stripes and waist-tie, my Fabio Rusconis (which are now on sale at 40% off, I feel so cheated). Brought along Mother's navy blazer (yep, you guessed it... from New Line) and wore it with rolled up sleeves. I can wear like a different blazer for every day of the week. She has so many, it's amazing. Chose to match the colour of the blazer to the top instead of the pants like a traditional pantsuit, because it gives it that casual, interesting touch that exudes charm (at least to me.)
Friday, I wore my new Polo Ralph Lauren (colourful logo !) white long-sleeved button-collar shirt with my Zara pants and transferred the necessaries into Mother's small but I-mean-business Etienne Aigner. Also, matched the bag with the Etienne Aigner shoes. Thankfully the weather's been hot so the pants (last worn Wednesday) dried in time. I don't have anything else to wear with a tucked-in shirt! Was intending to wear a skirt but mine's elastic and you can see the unsightly bulges due to the folds of excess cloth |: I need to get a proper starchy stiff pencil skirt. Since I left work on time today, I managed to do a quick doodle using Microsoft Paint (so the quality is really bad):
It doesn't show the texture of the jacket, which is a pity. But it's fairly accurate, stylistically. I know it's not perfect and it doesn't look like me. Makes me wish I had a tablet! Perhaps I'll sketch on paper sometime (: feels good to draw. It's been ages.
Do I really ooze the anti-thesis of a goody two shoes? I honestly am a wallflower through and through.
