The past few days have consisted of unbearably boring outfits. Sloppy shirt, black pants, lazy shoe choices, yada yada. I am ashamed. Yet, I resolutely refuse to repeat an outfit in these 3 weeks. Mother asked today if I was working or putting on a fashion show. I guess it's both :D who says workwear has to be yawn-inducing? And who said you've to sacrifice comfort for style. Poppycock and hogwash!
It's fun 'creatively' dressing every morning. I stood unabashedly sticking out like a sore thumb today in my red MNG Suit cardigan, white Dorothy Perkins shirt and grey ruffle asymmetrical MNG skirt. People would notice my red cardigan, then consequently do a double take when their gazes drifted downwards to the voluminous ruffles at my knees. I feel like a guerilla, hehe. Ambushing all the innocent—or not so innocent—commuters who check me out, unwittingly drawn in by my conspicuous red cardigan.
Work ends tomorrow (DRESS DOWN FRIDAY YAY)! But the new internship starts Monday -.- AND I only found out today that I'm actually being (formally) assessed. Oh snap! I hope I do well \:
Better get some work done, pronto.
