Roku Go!

Japanese classes resumed tonight. Since Mother and I passed, we have been promoted to Intermediate level! (: JLPT here we come :D

Anyway, this song's music video caught my eye like a lifetime ago but I never got round to nabbing it. You know how I am... d:

Looking forward to next year's Japan trip with the girlies. If it doesn't materialise then I might just go by myself (: Japan is manageable. I feel safe roaming around on my own, at least during the day. I think if I don't get to move to the US (Bay area???), I'd probably settle for Japan and still be really happy there. Who knows, it might even be more awesome (;

Gobbled down tons of sushi and sashimi and ramen and udon lately. When will I tire of it?? How about never. Hehe. If only it were more affordable. If you're a fan of Japanese mayo, try Koh's Grill & Sushi Bar at Wisma Atria's Food Republic. They have blowtorch sushi, a cheap thrill for most. My friend couldn't stop staring everytime he whipped out the blowtorch. The Shiok Maki at SGD 15 looks appetizing with plenty of Ebiko (small orange roe) and the fact that the top of the mayo is seared using the blowtorch makes it slightly savoury, giving it just the edge it needs. Personally, I'm anti-mayo and still find it a little on the sweet side. But my friend who is also anti-mayo quite liked it and said this was an exception for her. The portion is fairly generous so if you're eating alone, I'd suggest just this. If you're sharing, two persons can share one Bento set and one Shiok Maki. I wouldn't eat here again because I'm too fussy, but if you're Singaporean through and through, this is the place for you. The menu prices are standard-ish to decent.

Did I mention that I missed out on Isetan's SGD 9 Seafood Chawanmushi! Looked so good on the brochure but I didn't have time on Friday. Aye. Hokkaido fair (and Isetan sale) is ongoing, go check it out! (: I just might. Having a Mango craving... Mmmm.

Nippon banzai!!!
