AHHHH. THE SWEET SMELL OF FREEDOM.
Feel like I've been away for the longest time! IRIS HAS REAPPEARED, PEOPLE. Hehehe. Brother said that because I haven't been going out with them, they've forgotten I exist. AND I also haven't met his new girlfriend. Buh!
Exams are over, I'm convincing myself that I'm beyond caring though truly I am worried about how I'll do. Hopefully the effort I've put in will be reflected, even though that is terribly unlikely. I really need to work on time management!!!! It's my greatest downfall.
Slept today away, then had the most awesome dinner just now - made even more awesome because the whole family ate together. Might have overeaten a teeny bit, but am totally satisfied. Went to the regular Jap restaurant we frequent. It's been a loooong while since I patronised that place. HAD THE MOST AMAZING SASHIMI EVERRRRRR. SWEAR! The fish and uni (sea urchin) today were so great (and so cheap!!!!!). The uni cost only 35 and there was a lot and it was so sweet. And the fishes were sweet, too, and not frozen. SERIOUSLY. I died. Hahahaha. I might consider going pescetarian if I lived in Japan........ or not. I honestly don't think I'd survive turning vegetarian or going without red meat, though I've heard it's not so difficult because you will hate the taste of meat after going without it for a month.
OMNOMNOMNOM. It's been non-stop eating and indulging in not-cheap to expensive meals since exams ended. Thursday I had La Petite Cuisine for lunch. Skipped out on teppanyaki at Wisma in favour of fish soup at Plaza Sing and Rochor beancurd (FINALLY) then Ben and Jerry's at Dempsey. Friday, it was Cedele, Alleybar and Meng's Kitchen (yes, I'm still going... it was really bad last night though. Too crowded!). And today it was Japanese. Monday, it'll be Japanese again, though at a different place. Maybe tomorrow I'll brunch at Dempsey, didn't get to today. So much for dieting.
Anyway, sleep + eat = story of my life right now = best combo ever.
xx
