A Little Woman

As I reflect on turning the supposedly momentous two one, I realise many things:

As one grows older, time passes increasingly quickly.

I don't know why this is. It could simply be the fact that proportionately, a year has become that much smaller a fraction of your life. Or it could also be the added effect of the monotony and unexcitement as you progress further towards/into adulthood that makes it pass unblinkingly. Alternatively, it could also be that time has really become so insignificant a factor in your life.

Well, whatever it is... Life is short. Better make it sweet too.

Things will only get more complicated from here on.

Relationships get far more complex than they need to be, politics get blown out of proportion, people think too much, nobody is ever honest anymore, ... the list goes on.

Everyone keep it simple, please?

Love does make the world go round.

Love is many a splendid thing. The Powerpuff Girls were right. There is much more to be said which I cannot coherently formulate right now. Just know that love is a perfect answer to many problems.

I am blessed to get to experience maternal love, platonic love, perhaps romantic love and above all, His love. Cherish every moment you have to love and be loved.

But in addition to all the insurmountable things that will never be known to me, my only wish is for happiness. Happiness for myself and those around me. Ironically, my heart is so full of love that I feel like a hippie. Or it could just be the fever talking, yo.
