Try, Try, Try Again

I'm sorry I haven't blogged lately, it's not my fault the internet doesn't work even when I directly plug the LAN cable into my laptop. Starhub seems to really be in a shitty place of late. Yesterday I had all the channels available on cable tv, even the ones I didn't subscribe to. At least that's one mistake which won't make me screw them over. Haha. Watched X2: X-men United instead of soccer so as to take full advantage of such an error. I can always watched the repeat. Hehe.

I guess my results this semester have been a little harsh and unforgiving of my own errors but all in all still ok, I guess. I did decent by my standards for the 2 modules I cared about and I think I did ok-ly for a third - save for poor time management during the exams which let me down and caused the dismal final grade. Sigh. Really gotta watch that clock next time - I only managed to answer questions amounting to 56r2r3% of the final score. Awful, really. Just plain awful. The last one is a very average (or some might say below average) grade but a semi-miracle in that I actually very-slightly-more-than-passed since I only answered 50%, but I'm just glad it's over. Thank goodness for moderation/bell-curves.

2009 has not been kind to me, but I certainly look forward to 2010 and a fresh start. As Harvey Dent says, "I create my own luck". I, too, shall determine my own destiny.
