Been trying new places randomly... I suppose it's because Brother and I are somewhat bored of going to
Holland V the same place(s) all the time. Though, when we are at other places we often lament that Holland V has everything that we want. Hurrr. Dinner today was a case in point: we went to Jurong Point to get ramen just for a change in scenery. Brother had said he felt like eating so I suggested checking out the Japanese food street there (plan B was Boon Lay nasi lemak). The ramen place is called
Men-ichi, and I didn't like it. It's edible, actually. It's just that I'd rate it really average. It came with beansprouts, which I dislike-but-still-eat, which were thankfully young and cooked and not awfully beansprout-y tasting. I had the cheese curry ramen (SGD 11.90++ a la carte) with buta kakuni and hot green tea (mix & match set costs SGD 15.90++) and brother had the negi cha shu ramen (SGD 10.90++)--all were so so. Anyway, while we were there, brother said he refused to go to the Holland V ramen place because he knows he'd totally binge and eat those mini burgers there on top of ramen. Hahaha. I concur--NO SELF CONTROL PLEASE. Heh!
Terminator 3 and Matrix Revolution on the telly tonight were good. Mmm. Mother laughed at really strange moments during T3.. which I realised I don't have much recollection of, despite watching it 4 or 5 times. Or so Mother claims. But 'tis still good. Nothing like good old-fashioned movies. Hehe (:
I'm not feeling sleepy at all, which is pretty strange. I could've washed my hair just now if I'd known I'd still be up. Bleh. As it is, shall wash tomorrow morning. I think I will drive to BTC instead of KR tomorrow. I'm too lazy to walk from CRISP to PGP (and back). Heh. I only hope it doesn't rain so that we can go out for lunch. It's been raining every single day. The weather is terrible--hot for weeks on end, then raining relentlessly ):
Shall try to do some work so that I can bum a bit tomorrow. Feel a little strange.. Too many thoughts running through my overactive mind.
xo
