Watching the price/colours for this phone--the LG GD580, also called lollipop! Waiting for black at $0.. Hur. Would love the lime, though the red (available at m1) isn't half bad. Lollipop 2 is out in Korea--it has pretty pastel colours. Haha... The LG/Cyon website is really amazing but loads damn slow -.-
Had a relatively good weekend. This is the first true school-free one I've had (: ironically, it's a break when I think I should be stepping it up instead. Hurhur. But 'twas nice nonetheless.
Braved the afternoon downpour to go to House this afternoon. To date I've been there a total of 3 times and I've never had a good experience. I think I have no affinity with that place. They're really expensive, and I'd much rather not go to Dempsey... Anyway, P.S. Cafe and Jones the Grocer are in town so no need to go there. Heh. I had the Bitter Chocolate Tart today (SGD 8.00++) which wasn't too bad. Was pretty rich but not sickeningly so. Brother had Vanilla Sky (SGD 8.00++ for a small pot)--some strange tea which smelt quite pleasant but tasted like Lipton. Other items ordered were Beetroot Beat (SGD 8.50++ for medium-ish glass), non-alcoholic Mint Berry Fix (SGD 13.50++), lemon cake and some sort of granola thingy, which were ok to not bad/quite nice. The thing in the menu which caught my eye was the majorly expensive Spanish Donut aka churros. I keep thinking about it since I saw Samantha Brown have it with thickkk chocolate in Spain. MMMM. Boo ): the brunch looks not too bad, prices aside, and a friend ever mentioned their french toast before. Service was... slow and not good. The company was good, though (: met someone who was really admirable and inspiring. Something to aspire to, I guess. Gossiped a little (hehehe) and had generally a good time talking.
Popped by Le Bon Marche to look at the menu, then decided that we didn't feel splurgey--especially not right after House--so brother and I headed over to Ivins at Binjai (: yumyum! Ayam curry, nonya chap chye, itek tim, chilli-stuffed selar, buboh chacha.. SO GOOD. Stopped myself from ordering extra rice. It's disgusting the amount I eat. Hurhur. And I'm begin to feel horrible about my thickening waist. Need exercise!
Can you believe I ate non-stop all of today? I woke up to home-cooked kurobuta porridge, then headed out shortly after to tea at House, and went straight from tea to dinner at Ivins. Horror!!! In between lunch and tea, I watched Manny Pacquiao and Indian Wells. After dinner, I just lay on the couch watching Transformers and F1 and soccer. Oh man, totally sinful.
Ferrari one-two (yay!) and Hamilton finished in third. Haha. Poor Vettel. Not even a podium finish despite starting in pole and leading for more than half the race. Not too bad a start to the season... I might just have to eat my words. Haha.
I aim to... apply for internships by this week. Hmmm. Time is running out.
xoxo
P.S. I know, I know. I'm really terrible at this blogging thing and it's a verbal volley all the time instead of having pretty picture posts. Kind understanding is much appreciated!
