Someday My Prince Will Come

Having a couple of emotionally difficult days. Sigh. Grabbed a quick early lunch at Mien at Bukit Timah Market. Aglio olio with bacon and mushroom for SGD 4, certainly no complaints! Took another shower because of the unbearable heat, then went down to the co-op at Kent Ridge to get my laptop serviced--apparently the cable's spoilt, so they'll call when the part comes in. Even with Singaporean efficiency, it's still not quite fast enough for my liking. I was hoping to get it fixed within a day. It's a really simple problem--what else would one expect? Shrugs.

Missed out on Alice in Wonderland in 3D last night with the girls because of French. (Which turned out to be a waste of a good hour and a quarter, and information overload in the last 20 minutes or so. Ugh! Wish he had better time management. Everything important flew over my head. AND he still hasn't uploaded the slides yet, despite saying he would last night or today. Bah! French efficiency = oxymoron..) Also gave To Kill A Mockingbird a miss last Saturday (there were good and bad things about it). But at least I managed to have lunch at La Petite Cuisine last Thursday. (Mmm.. potato-leek soup, dory basquaise, apple tarte tatin...) My girly outing attendance rate is abysmal ): I must catch them before we part again.

While I have no papers to write, French has a written test in a couple of weeks and oral in a few days. Hopefully I'll ace it all. Feel like a bit of a fool to be taking it so seriously, though. If only I were as enthusiastic about my law modules.

Going to take a break from work--no, really--this weekend. Catch Alice In Wonderland--I do so want to watch it!!! Haven't caught a film in ages--with my brother tomorrow, perhaps do a bit of shopping and pick up my phone. Got them both serviced within the week but I don't think the E51's problems have been resolved. Shall send it back in again if the E75 is back to normal.. Love that phone (: think I'll skip the On Pedder sale.... Sigh. Also, Restaurant week in a few weeks' time. Wonder if I should can afford to go. Aye.

I want to go travelling in both summer and winter but I don't know where to go or what to do--limited finances, limited time. Shall let fate take me wherever it will... I am but a hapless passenger on this endless trip to anywhere or nowhere.
