Oh, they didn't stop screening Toy Story 3. It's just that they are bloody lazy and update once a week when new movies are released so there's no way I can check the timings in advance. Zzz. But I've got that out of the way already so never mind. Clearly, I'm sheepishly irritated d:
Toy Story 3 (non-3D) is cuuuute, but not fantastic in any way. The illustration could've been better, but its animation was faultless as usual. Storyline, plot development and pacing were all pretty ok to above average. On the whole, worth the 6 dollars (:
Full Monty was good, too. They really did go the full monty, but cleverly used background lights--they suddenly turned the "FULL MONTY" sign to maximum brightness--to shock your eyes so you couldn't at all see anything you shouldn't be seeing. Hahaha. The show was very long, 3 hours including a 15 minute interval. Definitely worth the ticket price, though I would've liked to sit nearer to the front..... Silly friend and her weird modesty ideas. Didn't quite like the venue--Drama Centre at the National Library--but I guess it's really more than alright. Was surprised to see in the program that my friend had a role! And quite a sizeable one, too, with talking and singing (:
If you didn't already know, there've been plenty of upsets at SW19. Women's second seed, Venus is out, and men's top seed, Federer is out, too. Hahaha. Men's second, third and fourth seeds are all through to the semis. How embarrassing to have bowed out in 4 sets, too!
Rainy day today.. Helps keep me at home to do the housekeeping I'll otherwise never get around to. My girlfriends are heading to town for shopping.. but I probably would've passed anyway.
Randomly, I feel like eating Burger King even though it's not filling. And I still have a tiny craving for Carls' Junior because of that stupid 24h drive-thru we always pass by at East Coast Park.
