- the perfect electric blue, mid-small, soft leather convertible shoulder/cross-body Modalu handbag with bow details (gold hardware FAIL!); or
- the totally reasonably priced (SGD 39), perfect shade of bright red leather pointy-toed Her Glass Slipper flats with front tie detail (half a size too small FAIL!); or
- the very same shoe in black in the right size (left side missing FAIL!) (however, in the hunt for the mysteriously vanished other half, they uncovered abovementioned red version, which was 298572 times better); or
- the perfect nude/tan/skin colour patent pumps with black capped-toes and mid-height heel (too big FAIL!) (but my magical powers in locating this hidden shoe were not wasted because they were parfait *hand flourish* for my friend :)...
There's nothing quite like good ol' digging around, systematically and shamelessly going through every single shoe box (first round: swooping in only on those marked with the coloured stickers indicating the cheapest prices, then again for a second round: this time zooming in based on size, disregarding price; and repeating several times over)... or insisting that the staff do so. All for the sake of tracking down the really awesome bargains......
Shoes that I already own were also on sale. Thankfully, they weren't really that cheap; and I'd bought them on sale (; phew, I feel a little bit more like myself now. Back in control of my astute and/or stingy faculties.
The perfect song to wake up to...... Especially since I'm someone "who can't get out of bed or do anything to be happy". Not!
But seriously, I just adore the opening 1m 30s or so, and the pianoooo. Makes me really wanna jam.. (How many times have I said this already!?)
What am I to do when I dream of someone else, but still think of you? ): it makes me (quite literally) sick to my stomach. How can something so trivial manifest so deeply? I don't want to love you anymore. I promise this time its true
