Good Goodnight

I think I'll explore Bugis when I'm free. I quite like the quaint little shops in the mall, not to mention those in Bugis Village, which I heard is revamped. I'm all for new and exciting, no matter how much I love my malls in town--which have the best spread of anything.

Recently, I've been really obsessed with stripes. That's one thing that'll never go out of fashion. In particular, black and white stripes. I can't stop being inexorably attracted to pieces that have a mix of stripes, whenever and wherever I see them, not least those which find ways to incorporate the same pattern in the most visually-intriguing ways. Other than stripes with stripes, I also like stripes with dots (saw a rendition by BCBG (Max Azria?) at the sale... which was strangely familiar).

Found one at bYSi... which might be worth checking out. I dont know, the store gives me mixed feelings \: their clothes don't fit me and generally don't suit my style. They have a good selection of separates with a few nicer basic pieces, but nothing I'd kill to own. Somehow, the designs and fabric quality just don't do it for me. I guess it's relatively affordable, but you do get what you pay for. Obviously the lookbook is wonderful, but then what's in stores is usually quite a let down. I'd lump it together with M)phosis, except that M)phosis is even more expensive for quality that is just as bad. Actually, I think maybe the quality worse. Designs aren't everything!

I have a feeling that it's going to be a mad rush after exams, what with errands and things that I want to do, especially if I manage to get good airfares. I'll have to become a tactician a la Zhu Ge Liang. Cue "lue dong, lue dong." Hahaha!
