Nothing Short Of Miraculous

Made it through my exam this morning after not sleeping last night. I'm actually more relieved than anything. 2 down, 1 to go. So far both are bad, I'm hoping to scrape by with Cs, but wouldn't be surprised by Ds (see what I'm doing, lowering expectations again) but I should pass. B for bonus!

Went for an entertaining lunch and happy hour beers in town but couldn't help feeling a little zoned out. Had to restrain myself walking past the stores (ZARA!!! UNIQLO!!!! DAISO!!! I will raid them all next week!!!!) (Also, PEDRO!!! WAREHOUSE!!!!! TOPSHOP!!!!! Watch out (; heehee. Fair warning.) and grabbed a sweet drink like mother advised, to quell the fires in my stomach from my Thai spicy fried rice from hell (: I like asking service staff for recommendations. Saves my aching brain from having to work any harder. Happy Lemon's cocoa thingy with some salt is not bad, I like the salty foamy coagulation and unintentional cocoa nibs (: today's service was good, too (: yay.

ASOS

Y U SALE + FREE SHIPPING NAO

Just go google "Y U NO guy".
I love him! Totally cracks me up. Cackles.

Took the train home and got a seat pretty quickly, thankfully. Sort of got really tired towards the end and nodded off a couple of times but nothing too unglam. Heh. The shower in town progressed to an outright downpour as we headed northward and outwards. The gloomy weather now is perfect for catching up on my sleep... right after I finish listing my errands and fixing my schedule.

It's thundering outside. So lovely to be curled up on my silk comforter, wedged between all my fluffy (silk) pillows, draped in a soft blanket, browsing my daily reads and watching the repeat telecast of the ATP world tour finals in London (where some of my friends are right now..... except they don't watch tennis. Pity!). Stretches. Secretly, it's very depressing that the Koreans have started killing each other. Very sobering, putting things in perspective.

Once again, this reinforces my belief that there's more to life than just school and grades. I only hope that I will make it past this stage and move on to greater things.

Love,
xo
