Putting Off Procrastinating

I haven't blogged about Paris fashion week, but I've got no impetus at the moment. Heading out in a jiffy to hunt down some real good bargains otherwise I'm not going to part with my money! But that's only in theory, in an ideal world, in my head. Hurhur. I'm constantly worrying about becoming high maintenance but my friend says I'm alright. Naturally, the boyf will claim that I am expensive due to the high intake of comestibles I require to function properly.

Btw, Rumi of Fashion Toast (link on the left) is totally amazing and I love her to bits. Her inimitable style is so damn hot it should be illegal! Her latest posts from Paris are just... wow, speechless. Yup. Amerika, land of the dreams indeed! I don't think anything like that will ever happen here. Why? Well firstly, fashion here is steadily progressing but nothing avant garde (yet). Secondly, we have a pretty limited selection of quality clothes (imports are expensive even on sale; second-hands are few and far between). Thirdly, people here a somewhat fashion-challenged unaccepting. Fourthly, people here are self-conscious fashion bores (I'm guilty as charged!). Fifthly, it is simply too "hot and humid"* resulting in the fourth point. Lastly, media and fashion are not big on most people's lists.

Is that line of argument even sound? Haha. Anywhateverway, I'm not griping. I don't mind at all, really. It means we've got to be flexible and resourceful! Which is a fun challenge in itself (:

Ok, got to run! Photos to come, my friend's bringing out his DSLR for me to play with (more likely camwhore) today. Tried on some wacky glasses yesterday!!! Looking forward to more random items today. Totally fun. Heh.
