For all the non-result, I spent an epic 3 hours there... My trainee washed and cut my hair really slowly and any mistakes were rectified by the trainers. It was free, though, so no complaints (: all 3 girls ended up looking somewhat similar. Hahaha. We got roped in by a guy to do his graduation hairshow, one of us is getting a free perm and I might do a collection for the trainer (: the hairshow isn't paid, but we figured it'd be fun :D :D :D quite exciting. My hair's long for the hairshow, but the trainer is probably going to cut it shorter for her purposes... no idea what that will be, nor even any idea when that will be. Hairshow's at the end of July (:
The senior who's going to graduate was quite excited. Suddenly he randomly rushed forward to tell me that he knew what he was going to do for me. Hahah. He was super happy. So cute la. Then he told me again that he'd decided for me and another friend when I had finished my hair. Haha. Anyway, observation: there are a lot of homosexuals in the hair industry. Haha. I think all the men today were gay, and some of the girls were lesbian.
We interrupt this post to bring you the conclusion of the ISNER V. MAHUT EPIC MATCH. WORLD'S LONGEST TENNIS MATCH--this is not hyperbole--11H 05M, 6-4 3-6 6-7 7-6 70-68. SERIOUSLY. Isner was dragging his feet all over the court but miraculously held all his games, and Mahut, despite being sprightly and all, self-destructed in the final game. It was a brutal match, but the end came quickly. Isner was so relieved that it was over. If you take a look at the match stats, it'll blow your mind. I don't even know how he managed to get through it! But he survived. No, more than that, he prevailed. Hooray for Wimby. It gets more exciting every year. Nadal's playing now; Tsonga's through; Federer had an early scare.. Everything's pretty swell, except I think brother cursed Nadal--the only one who's seemingly cruising, he said--who is unfortunately not cruising through this match. Either that or he's really slacking.. Which is totally not his style. But he's being really careful so it might be tactical. I hope he pulls up his socks soon! ):
In other news, the purple dress is no more ): really should've bought it. Picked up a black and white horizontal-striped long-sleeved dress with buttons, also for SGD 10, but am sort of regretting it because: (i) the buttons are fake, and yes, (ii) it's in dreaded black and white. Boo. I wish the purple dress got left behind! Anyhoo, I'm going to see if the dress can be modified to have actually functioning buttons. Bloody lazy manufacturers. Pfft. Anyway, I can wear it multiple ways: sleeves half- or full-length, back to front and vice versa; and, I can dump it in the machine. The cut is, fortunately, quite flattering--slightly fitted but not too body-hugging--because there's no trying on bargain bin items. AHH, THE PURPLE DRESS. Feel frustrated.
Full Monty next week. Big hole burnt in pocket--SGD 72 + 3 for Sistic charge. CHOR, MAN.
Oh yay, Nadal won. I can sleep now.
Your worst nightmare turned good on weed:
Did I mention that IT RAINED AGAIN YESTERDAY
xoxo
