Someone Often Bumbling Alone

Unintentionally ended up trying Shimbashi Soba at Paragon with a couple of friends who're back from the US. I had, coincidentally, earlier discussed the place with another friend. Haha. The noodles were quite nice, but I think I would've liked their cold noodles better. I had ordered a set for SGD 25.90 which included a bowl of noodles, unagi, sashima and tempura. Should be quite filling for a normal eater. You can choose warm/cold udon/soba in any combination. I chose warm soba (: my friend ordered the tororo seiro, which totally killed him. He said the yam was very slimy and thick and difficult to eat with his noodles. Buh.

Adjourned to TCC at International Building where I was blown away by the hazelnutella milkshake (SGD 7.90++). It was very light and drinkable, but had a very strong and distinct aftertaste of Nutella--I later discovered it was because they actually do use nutella as an ingredient. Heehee. My friends ordered the chocolate affogato and a hazelnut qahwah, which were quite nice but ordinary.

Finally finished my Bioskin package! Now I don't have to go back there anymore. Phew. Turning in relatively early tonight..
