Sweet Sweet Smile

Everything I'm feeling now can be described in Carpenters' song lyrics. If I had you, The way we were, I just fall in love again and What the world needs now, to name a few. If I see a good compilation disc I would totally buy it. Just one of those timeless bands I can always relate to (: (: love the piano bits, too, on top of their lovely voices.

Speaking of piano, my friends are really amazing. Sight-reading + Immediate improvisation = Skillz. And piano music really does sound soooooo good. Makes me want to overcome my inertia. Also, they're really good at cooking/bakingggggg. YUMMY. I can't stop thinking about all the food I've been lovingly stuffed with--lemon cake with specially-bought-back-from-the-UK poppy seeds, souffle, chocolate cake with rum.

Despite all the reluctance I have displayed to enter the profession, I really think that I will end up doing it for at least a year (or a few.... according to Newton's first law).

Mother and Brother have been telling me to do what I like, to follow my heart. But I don't want to make things difficult for them. Not that things will be really difficult, but I just want to make things less difficult. If only following your heart were simpler. Easier said than done!
