Yesterday, when I went to Ngee Ann City for dinner, I popped by the JayGee Melwani goods fair at the basement. Under their stable of brands is Aigner and Giuseppe Zanotti, both of which had nice bags and shoes respectively. I drooled over them for a while before I could tear myself away.

Images from Giuseppe Zanotti.

The above are the closest pictures to what I saw.. The first is the same design, but in a pale, pale beige--there's a tiny picture here--and the glitter shoe is more of a medium grey glitter, like the left boot.

Ugh. Now I'm being distracted online by their insane leopard towering wedges with big spots, these mad bejewelled cowboy-esque boots with asymmetrical zips and this crazy crazy chains-for-laces boots which kind of makes them kind of like a pair of handbags carried on my feet. I also imagine these to be kind of fun to swish/clink around in. Pragmatic as I am, I imagine these oversized bow ballerinas would be the perfect red flats for me. Ahh! I certainly wouldn't mind these either.

(I, again, noticed that a couple of the Pedro shoes were inspired by the GZs, kind of like the YSLs, but this time the originals are quite different and nicer. I've never been one for remembering which designer belongs to which design, but it seems my brain is now beginning to store such unimportant information instead of school-related knowledge.)

I can't find the bags from Aigner online, but OMG WHY SO AFFORDABLE. Ugh. I'd love these turqoise clip-ons which are ONLY USD 20 WTF. Their earrings are really pretty. I like this pair a lot, too, but they're pierced earrings.

Does it feel like you're shopping vicariously through these posts? Hehe.

Steven Meisel is so good.. I first saw him randomly in one of the shoots for vogue maybe a couple of years back. He's hot! Not to mention a genius. You can check out some of his spreads on FGR (one of my fave reads lately). The cats in this one just killed me.

I think I've been surfing too much nonsense like icanhazcheezburger.
